ROSHNI MOHAPATRA (MO) is a professional Art Director in the Entertainment Industry. Based out of Singapore and also a California resident, she is best known for her work on Rumbadoodle (2012), the world fusion album nominated for a GRAMMY® Award at the 55th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Bliss, the single that was launched via a Worldwide Exclusive First Look on GRAMMY.com in August 2013.
A STAGEY BANK AFFAIR by Arun Shenoy & The Groove Project released in July 2016 release, marks Mohapatra’s foray into the world of Concept Album Art. With a visual aesthetic built on vintage fairgrounds and the fading art of carnival poster illustrations. Mohapatra’s vision, in collaboration with the team at Actuality Films NYC with Robert Capria at the helm, have resulted in an immersive audio visual experience of the Bansuri Funk Music, Vivid Illustrations, Animation, Liners and Physical Packaging
Mohapatra has graced the red carpet 4 years in a row (2013-2016) at the Annual GRAMMY® Awards and has been also featured by Zen Magazine in the best dressed couples list at the 56th Annual GRAMMY® Award red carpet arrivals.
She is the also founder and owner of Mockingword Consulting, a creative services firm specialized in the visual arts and editorial work for the media and entertainment industries.
The Capital Markets Professional
ROSHNI MOHAPATRA is a Technology Professional with a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
She has a background in Financial Software Systems and mobile remittance with 9+ years of professional work experience in the Capital Markets domain.
In her role as a Senior Consultant with Murex in the Back Office Operations and Finance team, she has worked with Murex clients across the South East | South Asia regions. She has been involved in the requirements analysis, design, build, and deployment of the Murex application, bridging the gap between the business and technology. Her functional expertise covers a wide range of asset classes from FX Cash and Money Market, to Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives and Equity Cash & Derivatives.
Subsequently she has also worked as an Independent Consultant in the Mobile Financial Services sector and also as a Business Analyst and Consultant with consulting firms in the Murex space, derivIT and Palo IT.
Mohapatra also has a Research background in data mining and Natural Language processing with her work published and cited in International Scientific Journals.
